Everything started at the beginning of the 80-s with a small ZX Spectrum personal home computer. The desire to extend gaming time soon moved me towards programming, then into Information Technology and later other technologies.

In the meantime, the big hardware and software manufacturers’ even bigger development race had begun, that we, users now enjoy and at the same time suffer from. (In alphabetical order) Amazon, Apple, Cisco, Dell, Ericsson, Facebook, Google, HP, IBM, Intel, Microsoft, Nokia, Oracle, Samsung, Twitter and Western Digital are the biggest and most known. However, countless medium sized and small technological companies appeared – and some vanished – over the last 30+ years.

For me, a hobby became a profession when after graduating from high school I got a Master’s Degree in Computer Science. I had the opportunity to teach adults courses, such as Introduction to Computer Science and Programming. Over the years, I have worked for several companies within Manufacturing, Banking, Process Improvement, Automation, Internal Audit, Project Management, Operations and Finance organisations in positions which were all technology-related.

My experience is that companies try to keep up with the pace of technological advancement and there are few which succeed. Meanwhile, on the individual side, I see that most of the people are left behind in this process and are just wrestling with the tide, as Hungarians says.

For more than 25 years I have supported family members, friends, colleagues and acquaintances with smaller-bigger technical issues and challenges. This is how my Personal Technology Consultant, Implementer, Trainer and Support Provider career started.

Few years ago I decided to start helping “officially” those who wish to learn and to grow in this area by creating, fine-tuning and further developing good and useful personal technology solutions that fit their own custom needs.
